Community Involvement
PremierWest Bank has deep roots in the communities we serve. We believe that "community bank" equals "community service" and it shows in our mission. And our actions. When potential employees are interviewed they're always asked "How are you involved in your community?"
Our employees volunteered over 23,000 hours last year helping a wide range of organizations. Year in and year out, when something needs doing in the community, you'll see PremierWest employees with their sleeves rolled up.

Roseburg, OR – Parrot Creek Park Renovation Project
Parrot Creek Park is a small neighborhood park constructed 47 years ago. The park serves as a neighborhood playground, full of children who utilize the park as their only “close to home” recreation site. The two pieces of play equipment, a swing set and an old slide, both constructed of metal were deteriorating and near the end of their safe and useful life. The asphalt was cracked and uneven and not a safe environment for children to play. PremierWest Bank donated to the cause and Gary Murphy, Business Banking Officer in Roseburg, formed and led a group of volunteers in raising funds and working to renovate the rundown park. Some final touches need to be done, but the bulk of the project is completed.
Thank you “Friends of Parrot Creek Park”
