We also retain transaction information any time you make a transaction on one of your accounts, including ATM transactions, debit and credit card transactions, loan advances, and transactions through online banking, over the phone, or at a branch. The information collected and retained includes account number, date, amount, location of the transaction, and any other pertinent information.

We also obtain information when you call us, visit our website at www.premierwestbank.com, or communicate with us by computer. After you sign up for our online services, our data system records certain online information including the transactions you conduct online. We also use this information to measure how effectively we address your concerns. The information collected and retained also includes information that you provide in any online application, internet banking transaction, and information you send us by email or give us over the phone. This data enables us to process and confirm your transactions. When you send us email, we will retain the content of the email, your email address, and our response in order to handle any follow up questions you may have.

Disclosing Your Information Among PremierWest and the PremierWest Companies

PremierWest Bank and the PremierWest Companies provide financial products and services to customers. We will use personal information as appropriate in the normal course of our business to provide the products and services you requested. We will also use this information to positively identify you when you contact us. We will not disclose information to third parties (other than our affiliates) concerning your account with us, except (a) when the disclosure is necessary to complete a transaction, (b) to verify the existence and condition of your account for a third party (such as a credit bureau) as permitted by law, (c) to comply with any court order or applicable laws or regulations, or (d) when you give us your written permission.

By allowing us to share information about you and the products and services you obtain from us, we are better able to serve your financial needs. Our affiliates maintain the same privacy standards as we do.

Disclosing Your Information Outside of PremierWest and the PremierWest Companies

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone outside of PremierWest or the PremierWest Companies, except as permitted by law and except for everyday business purposes, such as to process transactions, maintain accounts, respond to court orders and legal investigations, and report to credit bureaus. Our reporting to credit bureaus is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which allows you the right to make sure that your credit bureau reports are accurate.

Marketing Disclosures

We also may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. These parties sign agreements with us that contain confidentiality provisions.
